Here is a picture of the USS Houston, the submarine that Jeff was first assigned to here
in WA. He was aboard from August 2001 through November 2004.

April 20, 2002, was the Navy Submarine Ball. Jeff and I just love to get all dressed up for
a good occasion.

Isn't this sunset spectacular? We took this during our visit to Hawaii in August 2002.

The Navy's birthday ball was held on our first wedding anniversery. Wasn't it nice of the Navy to
throw us such a big party?

Our 37 gallon fresh water fish tank is one of the biggest attractions in our house!

April 30, 2004. Here is Kyle's high chair that was burned in our small house fire. Thank
goodness that he wasn't actually in it!!!

Here is the USS Nevada, the current submarine that Jeff is assigned to.

Sokz and Buddy are the best of friends. They are unseparable. Where one goes, the other
goes. What one does, the other does. Gives a whle new maning to the phrase "copy cat".

Janine wasn't a big fan, but she was patient through Kyle's persistance of her wearing the sun glasses.

Lost 28 lbs, and over 20 inches in the summer of '05!

We went and saw Finding Nemo on ice! It was awesome! Here's the scene with Crush
and Marlin.

It's finally time to upgrade to a bigger vehicle! We traded in our '01 Chevy Impaula for this "05 Honda Odyssey!

Jeff built this small scale submarine for our boat's centerpiece at the 2006 Sub Ball. It's got R/C parts,
and shoots off "missels" (Nurf rockets). We won a trophy for Best Over All!!!

Jeff and I got matching tattoos. I've got the exact same tattoo and on the same place (upper left arm), but
only a little smaller.

Who ever said that the parents couldn't play on the kids waterslide too! (This was the old water slide...we have
a bigger one now!

My Grandma's "memory table"

Our three lazy kitties. :-)

I had to post this pic to show you all that Sokz IS really as fat as I say he is!

Natalie got embarrassed they everyone was singing "Happy Birthday" to her at Azteca, and so Daddy wore the big hat for
her. :-)

A nice sunset for Katie's birthday at Evergreen Park

November 2001. The first day of snow that we've received since living in WA. As
you can see, Janine is having a blast!

Tandom biking is one of our favorite activities. Where we live, there are many nice places to
ride, with beautiful views.

The USS Henry M. Jackson. Jeff was on this boat from July 2002 through
September 2002. We got to go to Hawaii because of it. :)

Another breath-taking Hawaiian sunset

Finally time for a new car. We traded in our '91 Chevy Cavalier for a '01 Chevy Impala.
This is Jeff's favorite toy! He can't stop playing with it.

We visited my mom's grave during our trip to NC for the 2002 holidays. My mom grew up in the
mountains, and wanted to be buried there.

January 2004. We've just gotten over 12 inches of snow, and our neighbors built this 8 foot
tall snowman right outside our door.

Finally! After 16 months of hard work, Jeff's very first airplane, called a "slow poke", is
completely finished. He's so proud.

December 2004. Owning our own home gives us the pleasure of putting Christmas lights up
on our own roof.

I took Kyle to a kids pottery painting studio, and he painted this truck bank all by himself, with
no help at all! He even picked out the bank all by himself! He did a good job, don't you think?

April 8, 2005. After 2 1/2 years, Jeff and I finally got to go to another Navy Submarine Ball.
It felt REALLY good to get all dressed up, and to go on a REAL date!!!

I've gone from a size 12/14 to a size 4/6!!!

My Grandma's 80th birthday celebration:
red hats - children
blue hats - grand children
gold hats - great grandchildren
green hats - in-laws

April 7, 2006. Our photo at the Submarine Birthday Ball. (Can you tell that I'm somehow attracted to the blue dresses?
LOL)

This is Gizmo, the newest member of our family as of May 9, 2006. He's an adorible ferret,
and makes a wonderful addition to our home!

The enemony that we have in our mini reef aquarium.

Our Christmas snow added the perfect touch to our Christmas lights in 2006!

Janine and Milo like to snuggle up together

With his new job at Konecranes, Jeff gets a cool new truck!

My friend's year...only in WA can you have sun, snow and a blooming cherry tree all at the same time!

These are our 2 furry children. Janine, and her little brother, Sokz. Aren't they cute together?

King of the throne...The bathroom is Sokz's favorite room of the house. He loves to play in water
believe it or not. He's such a goofball!

Jeff often reminds me of a monkey, I said that he'd better be careful before he turns into one.
Well, needless to say, look what happened. hehehe

We took this scenic picture while camping one weekend in June 2002 at Oyster Bay.

This is the very first candle that I've made. It is a chunk candle with vanilla scent.
I am so proud of it!

I painted this plate during a Moms Night Out with the MOMS Club. Since I had never painted
pottery before, I was quite impressed at how it turned out.

October 2004. Owning our first home is wonderful! Who knew that we could have so much
fun spending so much time at home depot!

We drove by the the famous St. Louis Arch, while coming home from vacation in December 2004.

January 2005. Our first snow at our first home. Isn't it pretty?

Isn't this the strangest seeing eye dog that you've ever seen in your life?

August 2005. A family outing to a Seattle Mariners game.

These kids HAD to wake me up from a nice nap to put those goofy glasses on me! Why?

2005 Halloween pumplin. We use one of those pumpkin carving kits to carve this. Didn't
it turn out great!

In Charleston, our neighbor's house across the street...I loved living in SC around Christmas!

Jeff's new hobby...Uncle Richard, you must be VERY proud! :-)

Tattoo (between my shoulder blades) in memory of my mom who died and for the baby that I miscarried in 4/06.

Grandma's roses from the family...11 red roses for her children, 5 yellow roses for her in-laws, 20 white roses for her
grand-children, and 7 pink roses for her great-grandchildren

This has to be proof of how much Milo LOVES milk!

My tattoo (on the small of my back) in memory of my Grandma. The pic isn't too great, because I took it just after
getting the tat....so it actually looks a lot better now that it's all healed.

We had the sprinkler on, watering the backyard on a sunny afternoon.

This is Brielle, our newest family member. She's a female black lab, about 4 years old, that we adopted from the
Humane Society as a play mate for Janine, who is now retired.
